Craft Crew: Beaded Embroidery In-Person

Learn the intricate art of beaded embroidery while discovering its historical ties to the culture of Black and indigenous folk of Louisiana. In this class, participants will collaborate in the design and creation of a headpiece/crown that will be on display in the library. New Orleans native Chief Smiley Ricks will lead the class. You can see photos of his work on the Artist of Month wall.
