Storyteller Kelle Jolly In-Person

Kelle Jolly comes to us with folklore from various cultures worldwide, demonstrating how music has the power to transport us on unimaginable adventures!

Kelle is an "Affrilachian-Georgia-lina-Peach," embracing a rich blend of cultural influences.  Through the art of storytelling and her mastery of the ukulele, she joyfully expresses her folk traditions.  Kelle is a firm believer in the power of bringing together like-minded individuals to foster resilient communities.  Her heart lies in the Appalachian region, which she proudly calls home.

She has enjoyed telling stories with music ever since her teaching days in the elementary music classroom. 

Kelle Jolly has a MA in Communications and Storytelling Studies from East Tennessee State University. She is a 2023 Black Appalachian Storytellers Fellow with the National Association of Black Storytellers and South Arts.
