Sewing Studio

Sewing Studio In-Person

The Sewing Studio is open to ALL SKILL LEVELS, Ages 12 & up (teens & adults) with a variety of fun projects to complete from simple to advanced. Sign up required for each 6 week session; limited to 15. 

Each participant is required to bring their own sewing machine (must be in working condition).

1st Hour (4:30 - 5:30 p.m.) Intermediate Sewers

  • Must attend 2 "sewing basics" classes before joining (from 2021 library sewing classes or during the 2nd hour)

2nd Hour (5:30 - 6:30 p.m.) New Students & Intermediates, Working Independently

  • New students will go through the basics lessons with the teacher while the rest of class works

- If you already know how to sew and would like to be a volunteer

- If you would like to learn to sew in this class and need a sewing machine

- If you have a sewing machine that needs a good home, please contactJessica to put your sewing machine up for adoption. The library will connect you with a sewing student in need and facilitate the time and place to meet up and teach the happy new owner of your sewing machine how to care for and use the machine. Only machines in good working order will be accepted.
